The Monticello

The Smithsonian Cupolas are built using an innovative material that is even more durable and rugged than natural wood. These vinyl cupolas are constructed from solid white PVC. The high-quality vinyl construction makes these cupolas extremely durable, weather resistant, and virtually maintenance free. The are unaffected by rain, snow, humidity, salt air, or pesky insects. They don't need painting, but can be easily painted to complement any structure. Our new Maintenance Free Vinyl Cupolas are available in a variety of designs and sizes. They are made of solid PVC and most feature copper rooftops, windows or louvers and shiplap or smooth bases.

- The correct cupola size is derived from the measurement of the roof's ridge.
- Our vinyl cupolas are topped with 16-ounce 24 gauge copper.
- All cupolas come in three sections for easy installation and delivery.
- Complete installation guide included with every cupola.
- Cupolas are ready for painting, but not required. All of our cupolas are weathervane-ready!
- These Cupolas are for a normal 10/12 roof pitch. Extension bases are available (on request) for steeper roofs.

Please note: Cupolas 24" square and larger must be shipped via motor freight. Our checkout system cannot accurately calculate the shipping charges of large items like cupolas. Therefore, we will email you with an exact shipping charge, for your approval, before processing your order. We only charge what UPS or the motor freight carrier charges us.
